We visted Eureka and explored different science experiments! It was lots of fun!
26/06/13
We threw eggs out of a window! But don't worry, they were protected by the parachutes we made. Did our eggs survive? Watch our video to find out!
21/06/13
Photograph experiments - guess who?
21/06/13
We have been hard at work this week building things to help an egg land safely on the ground, without cracking! We have to make sure we build something that can use air resistance to slow it down when it is dropped!
13/06/13
We learned about friction today! We looked at different surfaces, the amount of friction they produce, and how this affects the movement of objects. We did an experiment with a rubber band and a shoe to test the friction of different surfaces around the school!
11/06/13
Today we learned about how to find the centre of gravity in objects!
06/06/13
We learned about Newton's Second Law of Motion and the connection between force, mass and acceleration! We did an experiment to test the different forces created by different masses.
31/05/13
Sunny weather = Tennis outside!
31/05/13
Today we visited a local radio station! We were given a special tour by Алексей who showed us the different parts of the station and introduced us to some DJs! We even got a chance to use some radio equipment!
30/05/13
We have been learning about radio this week! We even created our own radio station (CET 3/4) and recorded a show! Click below to listen to our broadcast!
For our radio show we delivered some important school news and interviewed a special guest!
24/05/13
We had a lot of fun learning about stop motion this week. We worked hard to create another short video called Rainy Day. It took a long time to make, and it only lasts 16 seconds! The good news is that it's a wonderful 16 seconds!
20/05/13
This week we are looking at stop motion animation as part of our ICT topic. We learned about how this type of animation is made, and how patient we will have to be when we are making one. We made a (very) short video called Indoor Surfing.
16/05/13
Today we received our first email from Primary 6 in St Thomas' Primary School! There are 31 children in the class and we each chose a pen-pal to write to. It is exciting having friends from Scotland!
