Term 2B
We looked at water filtration as a way to clean water. We worked with a partner to build our own water filters using a funnel, sand, stones and filter paper. All of our filters worked and we managed to collect clean water.
We worked really hard this week and decided to create a non-fiction book about dirty water. Inside you will find our poems about water and our diary entries for a little girl called Nirinasoa who has to walk on a long, bumpy path to collect just one bucket of water from a small pond.
We found out that a special charity called Water Aid helps people like Nirinasoa to get access to clean, safe water!
We managed to find some time to create superheroes to help save the Earth!
