Mr Andrew McNab
Senior Teacher and Year 3 Teacher Hello. My name is Andrew McNab and this is my second spell working at CET. I previously worked here for three years before returning to Scotland, however I missed the sun, the snow and of course the school, so here I am again. It feels like I have never been away and I am really looking forward to a successful year. Even the cold parts. When I'm not in school I like to visit the cinema so please let me know if there is ever anything showing in English! |
Miss Katya Glazova
Foundation Teacher This year I will be teaching the Foundation children. I have been working at CET for 4 years and I really enjoy coming to school every day. I am a postgraduate of Tyumen State University of the faculty of Geography and Ecology. My second diploma is Pedagogy. Working with children is something I have always wanted to do. It is amazing when you can see the progress children make during the academic year. I adore learning foreign languages because I am fascinated by other cultures. Cooking and jewellery making is my playground. |

Mr Johnny McKenna
Year 4 and 5 Teacher Hello everyone! My name is Mr. McKenna and I come from a very remote area in the south-west of Ireland called Lyreacrompane. It is a very isolated place with a population of about 400 people but was a very beautiful place to grow-up in. It is a prime location if you love nature and a very short drive from the beach. Living in the countryside means that I grew up enjoying the outdoors and playing lots of sports, which I still love doing to this day (football is my favourite)! I have two younger brothers, Michael and Eamonn and a little sister named Mairead. My Mum is a librarian and my dad is a carpenter. It was very hard to leave them behind when I moved here to Tyumen but it has certainly proved to be a good decision. I have been living in Tyumen for over 4 years now having had the opportunity to work in the language school as well as here in primary. I really love my job as it provides me with new and more interesting challenges each day. I learn as much from the children as they do from me! Tyumen has also given me a new family, I got married last year to a darling woman named Emiliya and really could not be happier. I look forward to my future here and hope that I can contribute in a positive way to a school, city and country which has given me so much. |
